If your project involves more than one contractor, you are legally required to appoint a Principal Designer under the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015.

As the client, you carry legal duties from the very start of a project – regardless of its size.   Getting the right appointments in place early makes everything run more smoothly and keeps you fully protected. 

FSL Projects acts as Principal Designer across a wide range of sectors and project types, coordinating health and safety during the design phase and making sure risks are identified and managed before they ever reach site.

What we do as your Principal Designer

 

We take on the Principal Designer role so you don’t have to worry about it.  We coordinate health and safety across the design team, ensure the right information is in place before work starts on site, and keep you informed of your obligations, every step of the way.

From notifying the HSE to compiling pre-construction information and working with your designers and contractors – we manage it all, giving you complete peace of mind.

 

Fund Monitoring & Project Monitoring

When you are providing finance for a construction project, you need to know your investment is being managed correctly.  Our Fund Monitoring service gives lenders, investors and funding institutions complete independent oversight – so every pound is accounted for. 

From development appraisals through to on-site monitoring, our team provides regular reporting, drawdown certificates and early identification of risks – giving you confidence that your project is on track and your investment is protected.
